Eastport Music Scene is proud to present this flagship guitar by Ibanez. It is an Ibanez Prestige RG655. This Cobalt Blue beauty has truly stood the test of time. They’ve been making this guitar for over 30 years and it’s better than ever. The Ibanez “J Team” is comprised of some of the best luthiers in Japan and they did not disappoint with this instrument. These guitars always come out of their cases in tune and ready to play.

Here are the specs on this fine machine. This RG has a Basswood body. This is a light and resonant wood. It has a 5-piece Super Wizard neck that is Maple and Walnut. It’s a really fast neck with a Rosewood fretboard. It’s 17 mm at the first fret, 19 mm at the 12th and it sport jumbo frets (with the Prestige fret edge treatment). You’re going to blow people away with the DiMarzio pickups. It has RG has Air Norton Humbuckers in the neck & bridge position and a True Velvet single coil in the middle. They keep it simple with one volume, one tone and a 5 position switch. The 655 also has Ibanez’s legendary original “Edge” tremelo. The tuners are made by Gotoh and the RG655 will ship in an Ibanez Prestige hardshell case with all the Ibanez case candy.
